Jojo Rabbit delivers in showing all of us how ridiculous and idiotic people look when they invest time and energy on hate. Fittingly, they look like a 10 year old child, blindly fanatic and believing tall tales. This is the case for Jojo until a change of heart happens.
This Taika Waititi satire is a jab (more like a power left hook) on hate and how it is taught by brainwashing young minds into such despicable beliefs. It also serves as a history lesson, in portraying how German children viewed Jews back in those days.
Its humor is witty and engaging, a style Waititi is known for in his writing.
Roman Griffin Davis is a bright revelation in his performance and Thomasin McKenzie is a rising star.
